How common is Nullity?
Nullity is also of relevance in the context of Civil Partnership and the criteria are set out in a statutory framework under the 2010 Act.
AApplications for Nullity are less frequent since the introduction of divorce. However nullity may still be relevant where a marriage is void from the outset or where the marriage is voidable as a consequence for instance, of one of the spouses inability to enter into and sustain a normal marital relationship.
